New Rubber!

Me and my girl :) Slushy comment eh. But at 281,000 miles she’s doing me proud. She’s on the new Avon Trail Riders at the moment. (Not sure about the name but it’s what they have) That’s the first time she’s not been on their Gripsters for about 10 years, perhaps more.

Are they any good? Well actually, the ride to Horsens in Denmark for the Horsens Motorcycle Festival and just now the ride to Norway and back have given them a good going over. Heavy rain, drizzle days, baking hot days, back road twisties, autobahns and motorways, plus gravel and sand. 7,380 (mostly loaded up) miles on them now. Yes, I like them. The grip has been excellent for everything except the sand, but I didn’t expect much from them on that stuff. Avon say 90% road and 10% trail. I think that’s fair comment. Let’s see how long they last. Looking good.
