Those of you who know me are much aware that group travel is not really my bag but travel is travel and the authors of this book have huge experience from both driving and leading tours. Usually when I review a book it’s for a motorcycle magazine, but when the opportunity came up to review this bicycle travel book I leapt at the chance. But I had concerns. Africa enthrals me, but it’s very hard to do justice to this amazing continent with the written word.
How can I put it? The Calne Bike Meet is a bike event for all the right reasons. A major cross section of just about every form of motorcycling there is all wrapped up in a very friendly atmosphere. Good stuff!
