Russian Magic!

Top tip of the day. It seems to me that more and more people are riding across Russia now and I’ve found something that I think will help if you are heading in that direction.

I’ve recently had the chance to delve into a book called ‘Russian Magic’ and loved what I read.

It’s all about the Russian soul! Well what I mean is that it takes you on a journey through legends, folk art, beliefs and loads more. I think that a traveller, having read ‘Russian Magic’, will understand much more about the things they are seeing, and the way many local people think.

Having lived and worked in Russia for years, Cherry Gilchrist knows her stuff. It’s a fascinating read and decidedly not stuffy!
